Mainframe DB2 Database Expert

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Mainframe DB2 Database Expert with strong knowledge in DB2 technologies to design, implement, maintain, and optimize database environments. In this role, you will support complex technology projects, ensure database availability and security, and proactively identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.

Design, implement, maintain, and support DB2 database solutions in line with business requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices. Provide production support for database environments and manage database release processes. Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Define physical database designs and build, review, test, implement, and support application database releases. Build and maintain high-availability and replication solutions in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams. Implement and maintain DB2 security rules and access authorities using RACF/ACF2.
