Beschreibung

Responsibilities As a Senior Scala Engineer at Nexi Digital, you will join the Cards team, which builds and runs e-commerce card payment acceptance and processing for Nexi's Payment Service Providers and large merchants. The team has full ownership of its solution – from code, through the AWS infrastructure, to operations in a PCI DSS-certified environment. This is a role for someone who takes topics end-to-end: you pick up a problem, work it out with the team, ship it to production, and own it afterwards. You will work remotely with colleagues in four countries, so clear, proactive communication is as much part of the job as the code. Developing and maintaining the main payment gateway written in Scala (Play Framework), running on AWS. Building the new standalone Network Tokenization service, managing Visa, Mastercard and other scheme integrations and the token lifecycle. Integrating with acquiring systems over ISO 8583 and with Visa and Mastercard APIs for network tokenization. Building and maintaining the team's AWS infrastructure, together with the rest of the team. Developing supporting components as AWS Lambdas in TypeScript and Python, and Python-based test tooling. Working with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. Applying security practices required by PCI DSS across development, deployment, and operations. Collaborating with other Relay teams (merchant management, notifications) in an English-speaking team spread across Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, and Finland. Taking ownershi
