Beschreibung

For one of our financial clients, we are looking for 2 strong mainframe developers focused on securities, investment, and settlement tasks. Develop and maintain Mainframe solutions supporting the Securities Trading area. Analyze existing solutions and translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions. Work with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and MQ in the IBM z/OS environment. Participate in development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Contribute to regulatory and mandatory deliveries affecting Securities Trading. Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, QA, and other development teams. Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards for software quality and maintainability. Contribute to technical documentation and systematic knowledge sharing. Support knowledge transfer and help build stronger Mainframe competence and backup within the team. Participate actively in Agile events and break larger requirements into actionable development activities. Key Requirements A curious mind with an open nature and a desire to knowledge-share with others. Experience with modern development practices including version control and code review. Ability to analyze complex existing Mainframe applications and understand dependencies between systems. Strong experience developing solutions on IBM z/OS. Solid COBOL programming skills. Experience with CICS. Experience working with DB2. Good understanding of JCL. Experience with MQ /
