Senior Backend Software Engineer — Python & Java

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Securities-Based Lending (SBL) Engineering team based in Dublin.

You will become part of a collaborative Agile engineering team responsible for developing and enhancing Broadridge's cloud-native lending platform used by leading wealth managers, private banks and financial institutions globally. This role offers an opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, designing and delivering scalable, secure and resilient solutions spanning REST APIs, backend services and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Python and Java engineering. We're looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, takes ownership of delivery, continuously raises engineering standards and enjoys collaborating across Product, QA, UX and Engineering teams.

This role combines modern backend development using Python, FastAPI, Java and Spring Boot and cloud native delivery using AWS.
