WORK SHIFT: First Shift (United States of America) JOB DESCRIPTION: Automation Engineer designs, develops, and implements automated manufacturing equipment and control systems( Industrial automation). Troubleshot complex technical issues, led validation efforts, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies while ensuring continuous improvement and safety. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develops, codes, and commissions automated systems, including PLC programming, robotics, and motion control systems. Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues, non-standard failures in automated machinery and control machinery to minimize downtime Manages automation projects, including scope, timelines and driving initiatives from design to deployment. Validates protocols and ensures all automation systems comply with safety, industry and quality standards. Analyzes production workflows and data to optimize performance, increase efficiency and reduce operational cost Creates technical reports, standard operating procedures, electrical documentation; Technical leadership and training. Coordinates with external vendors for design, procurement, and installation of new equipment. Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
