Beschreibung

Overview As a Principal Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing NFI’s Digital Twin. You will serve as an advocate for engineering decisions related to the Digital Twin. While interfacing with other business leaders, you will lead initiatives involving the development of new Digital Twin products and services. You will work directly with IT, as well as other teams supporting Transportation Management's various platforms and systems. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Solutions Engineering. Responsibilities Lead maintenance of the Digital Twin and related technologies. ● Lead the interoperability of the Digital Twin and related data ● Report on team/project performance KPIs ● Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions ● Create and update quarterly roadmaps to review with internal and customer leadership ● Organize and participate in project meetings that are held to discuss project scope, requirements, design, planning, and status. ● Apply analysis, design, coding, testing, upgrades, and production control best practices in a team environment towards the timely development and support of application software. ● Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback ● Ensure software is updated with latest features ● Write well-designed, testable code ● Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures ● Integrate software components into a fully functional software syste
