Beschreibung

Mind Computing is seeking a full-time, 100% remote DevOps Engineer to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud security, with the ability to collaborate closely with development teams to support reliable and efficient application deployments. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB, and EKS. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment workflows using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, logging, and compliance controls. Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, security, and cost, and troubleshoot issues proactively. Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other DevOps tools. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS. Support high availability, disaster recovery, and resilient cloud architectures. Collaborate with development and operations teams to translate application requirements into secure and efficient AWS solutions. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to
