Beschreibung

Rove is looking for a Software Engineer to build the backend and travel infrastructure behind our platform and the AI concierge that helps members plan, book, and earn miles. What you’ll do: Build supply aggregation that brings hotel, flight, and other travel inventory from multiple providers into one reliable platform, including normalization, deduplication, and property mapping. Make search dramatically faster through caching, parallel supplier requests, and smart timeout and fallback handling. Build and ship the AI concierge end to end, from the agent’s tools and prompts to the backend APIs, the web, and the iMessage experience. Design agent tools that are reliable: real prices, verified availability, safe booking flows, with humans approving anything that spends money. Build browser agents that act on a member’s behalf: shopping through Rove links, reservations, and loyalty account tasks. Own quality and performance: eval sets, tracing, monitoring, and fixing failures you find in real conversations and real searches. Work across our stack: NestJS, Next.js, React Native, Postgres and Redis, Temporal, AWS, Stripe, Claude. You might be a fit if you: Have 3+ years of TypeScript experience, with deep backend depth, and have shipped production systems people depend on. Have integrated and scaled many third-party APIs, and know how to handle latency, rate limits, and inconsistent data.
