Overview Compute Infrastructure Engineering & Service Delivery: Lead the engineering and operational maturity of Yale's compute platform (primarily Linux and Windows) ensuring reliable, secure, and supportable services that meet defined service levels and business requirements. Drive consistent execution of lifecycle management activities including patching, platform upgrades, hardware refreshes, capacity management, and technical debt reduction. Platform Modernization & IT Stability Program Execution: Own delivery of the compute infrastructure components of Yale's IT Stability Program, translating strategic objectives into execution plans for automation, operational consistency, resiliency, recoverability, and service standardization. Lead implementation of Infrastructure as Code, automated provisioning, configuration management, recovery readiness, and platform resiliency improvements across compute services. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Establish disciplined engineering practices, standards, and measurable operational outcomes across compute teams.
