Beschreibung

The Position As a Linux Infrastructure Engineer at Nexigen Digital, you will be part of a close-knit team responsible for the servers, networks and hardware that keep hundreds of thousands of Australian websites, inboxes and businesses online. We’re looking for someone who loves Linux, takes pride in a well-built and well-secured server, is proactive, goal oriented and possesses excellent problem solving skills. From racking hardware in our data centres to automating fleets of servers with Ansible, no two days are the same. We pride ourselves on maintaining a team culture that provides opportunities through collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning and development – so whether you’re a seasoned sysadmin or an engineer ready to step up, there’s plenty of room to grow here. An average day may include any or all of the following tasks: Administering, maintaining, securing and provisioning our fleet of Linux servers (RHEL/AlmaLinux) Managing server configuration and deployments at scale with Ansible Looking after our hypervisors and the virtual machines that run on them Managing, maintaining and replacing hardware in our data centres Keeping our cPanel and WHM shared hosting servers fast, stable and secure Managing and tuning web servers, including Apache, LiteSpeed, Nginx and Caddy Maintaining database clusters such as MariaDB/Galera, ensuring they stay healthy, replicated and backed up Managing and supporting our containerised environments
