Beschreibung

Job Overview Join a focused product squad as a QA Automation Engineer and play a key role in modernizing an existing PHP platform and migrating it to Laravel. You will own quality and test automation across UI, API, integration and regression testing, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, and assess release readiness using a risk-based approach. You will collaborate closely with backend (PHP/Laravel), frontend (React), SRE and product teams, support manual testing when needed, mentor junior QA engineers and help shape QA standards and automation practices. Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, integration and regression scenarios using tools such as Cypress or Selenium. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous validation and fast feedback loops. Perform risk-based quality assessments to determine release readiness and prioritise testing effort. Collaborate with backend, frontend, SRE and product teams to define testability, acceptance criteria and automation strategies. Execute manual testing when required to cover exploratory, usability or complex scenarios not yet automated. Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, sharing best practices for test automation and quality processes. Contribute to test strategy, quality metrics, defect analysis and continuous improvement of QA standards. Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in planning, grooming and retrospectives to align testing with delivery goals.
