About the team Data Engineering owns Veriff's analytical data platforms: a Data Warehouse (AWS Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Cube) and a Data Lake (S3, Glue, Athena) running across EU and US regions. We serve analysts, data scientists, ML, and product teams. We are a small, senior team based mostly in Tallinn. Because Veriff handles identity data, our job is to make data easy to use while keeping it secure, compliant, and cost-efficient. The opportunity We are moving towards a governed lakehouse that teams can use self-service. You will join our Data Engineering team and work closely with senior engineers. Your initial focus will be governance across both platforms: access control, handling of personal data, data lifecycle and deletion, and platform cost. You will own projects end-to-end, with support and mentoring from the team.
