Accountabilities:
- Define, develop, implement, and continuously improve automated testing processes to ensure consistent software quality across projects.
- Build, maintain, and optimize automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications using appropriate frameworks and tools.
- Develop and maintain test automation solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript, leveraging frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and WebdriverIO.
- Automate API testing using REST Assured and other relevant tools to validate functionality, integration, reliability, and expected system behavior.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to support continuous testing, faster feedback, and safer software releases.
- Collaborate across multiple business units and project teams, adapting testing strategies to different technical environments and business requirements.
- Identify potential quality risks proactively during early development stages, helping prevent defects and reduce the cost of rework.
- Establish and promote reusable automation components, consistent testing standards, and scalable practices across teams and projects.
- Advocate for a strong automation culture by sharing knowledge, supporting adoption of best practices, and helping teams improve their testing maturity.
- Validate data integrity and application behavior through database testing and queries involving Oracle Database and MongoDB.
