ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE:At Swiggy, SDE III(s) play an integral role in owning end-to-end Design/Architecture of complex systems.They co-own the technology vision of the respective team and significantly contribute to the overall success of the team. They partner with the product/business teams to understand the product features and specifications, translate them into high level and low-level design thereby facilitating the team in design and development of mission critical applications. What qualities are we looking for? *Proficient understanding of Web Fundamentals - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript *Proficient understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS or CSS in JS *Proficient understanding of at least one modern UI framework React (preferred), Vue, Angular, or similar; experience with TypeScript is expected *Experience with modern state and data-fetching patterns TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or m equivalent and monorepo tooling (Turborepo, Nx, pnpm workspaces) *Experience with Webpack, Vite, TurboRepo, npm/pnpm, and CI/CD pipelines. *Sound knowledge of design patterns and practices for writing clean, linted, maintainable and reusable code. *Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, micro-frontends, and server-side rendering (SSR) vs. static site generation (SSG). *Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. *Strong grasp of performance engineering Core Web Vitals, bundle budgets, rendering perf
