Senior Data Engineer | Remote UK Our client is a fast-growing consumer tech company, and they're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help scale the data platform behind decision-making across the business. It's a high-ownership role in a small team, reporting into the Lead Data Engineer and working closely with Product, Analytics and Engineering. What you'll be doing Building and maintaining scalable pipelines in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster, dbt and AWS Owning projects end to end, from ingestion through to analytics Building a proper staging and testing environment, and improving monitoring, alerting and data quality Contributing to CDC and lower-latency data work Code reviews, pairing and supporting more junior engineers What they're looking for Strong senior-level data engineering with solid software engineering habits Confident Python and SQL in production Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster or Airflow, and AWS Pragmatic data modelling and a real care for data quality Startup or scale-up background, comfortable with ambiguity Iceberg, CDC or streaming is a bonus What's on offer £85,000 - £100,000, fully remote within the UK Private health insurance, income protection and salary sacrifice schemes Extra holiday with tenure Burns Sheehan Ltd will consider applications based only on skills and ability and will not discriminate on any grounds.
