Location: Punggol (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-time Contract (Subjected to renewal/conversion) Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python. Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. Design and optimise database schemas, queries and data processing workflows. Deploy and maintain applications on AWS. Integrate applications with third-party APIs and internal systems. Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate automated tests and documentation. Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance, scalability and reliability. Participate in system design discussions, code reviews and deployment activities. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience in backend development using Python and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI or Flask. Working experience with AWS cloud services is required. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication and authorisation. Familiarity with system design principles, including scalability, reliability and performance. Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. Familiarity with Git, automated testing and software development best practices. Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
