Network Security Engineer

The role This is a senior, hands-on engineering position where you'll take ownership of the edge layer of a large-scale global web platform. You'll be responsible for the technologies that ensure public-facing applications remain fast, resilient, and secure—including Akamai CDN, Akamai WAF, DNS, traffic management, and the Azure networking that connects the edge to origin infrastructure. This is not a role focused on maintaining existing configurations.

We're looking for someone who enjoys designing solutions, implementing changes, troubleshooting complex production issues, and acting as a technical authority for edge networking across the platform. You'll collaborate closely with platform engineers, application teams, cybersecurity specialists, and infrastructure colleagues to continuously improve the reliability, performance, and security of a global digital estate.
