SENIOR AI ENGINEER Salary up to £100,000 On-site in Manchester city centre Python, Generative AI, RAG, LLMs, Agentic AI, Azure Opportunity to develop production-grade AI solutions Senior hands-on role with technical leadership responsibilities ABOUT THE CLIENT We're working with an established organisation investing heavily in Artificial Intelligence and the development of innovative AI solutions. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help design, build and deliver advanced AI capabilities. THE BENEFITS Work with cutting-edge Generative AI technologies Technical ownership and influence over AI development Opportunity to mentor engineers and shape best practices Collaborative environment working on complex AI projects THE SENIOR AI ENGINEER ROLE: You'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimising production-grade AI solutions, with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models and agentic workflows. Working alongside AI Platform Engineers and wider technical teams, you'll develop RAG pipelines, improve retrieval strategies, implement model fine-tuning techniques and establish evaluation frameworks to ensure AI solutions are accurate, scalable and reliable. You'll also contribute to technical decisions, code reviews and mentoring other engineers. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Strong Python programming skills Commercial experience with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG Experience building agentic AI systems and workflows Knowledge
