Department: Data Operations, DD&IT Reports to: Head of Data Operations Job function summary : The Senior Data Operations Administrator is responsible for the technical operational BI processes and holds professional accountability for the technical work and decisions within the operations team alongside the Head of Data Operations and the Principal Operations Specialist. This role involves setting standards for system monitoring and configuration. The Senior Administrator ensures timely data load and delivery for reporting, adhering to SLAs and business agreements. The administrator collaborates closely with both the Senior Operations Manager and the development team to minimize operational issues. Additionally, the Senior Administrator may participate in proofs of concept for new solutions or technologies and is responsible for progressing operational projects within their expertise. Main Responsibilities Core duties include managing: System monitoring System maintenance & configuration Request handling process Job scheduling & monitoring Git and CI/CD processes BI IT Audit Key Objectives/Deliverables Platform reliability & operations Security & access management Monitoring & observability CI/CD & release management Governance & platform standards Capacity management Developer enablement & continuous improvement Documentation Key Requirements 5-10 years of experience in a large enterprise BI setup 5 years of experience in BI operations Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing
