Project Engineer I - Industrial

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management. What You'll Do: Facilitate operational strategic planning efforts to identify business purpose and long-term goals and support the development of a strategic roadmap for future business growth.

Evaluate system capacity and demand, identify constraints and waste, and propose effective solutions in a high mix/low volume production environment to support our Strategic Business Units. Perform various analyses of value streams, to ensure proper layout, efficient material flow, and monitor available capacity to enable successful program execution. Identify and resolve systemic issues impacting production throughput and efficiency, using sound problem solving techniques and risk assessments.

Identify current value stream constraints and understand the effects of forecasted business growth on factory capacity. Improve forecast database management and analyze the outputs to quantify business growth. Engage and report to senior operational and engineering leaders, team members, and stakehol
