Summary: A Project Manager at Media
News Group is responsible for the flow of work through product development and acts as a servant leader and coach for an agile team. You will lead the team via agile practices, ensuring that the agreed-upon process is followed. You will also remove impediments and foster high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and constant improvement.
In a larger project management context, you will be responsible for balancing the competing needs of scope, schedule, and cost, while uncovering and monitoring risks. Finally, the Project Manager keeps stakeholders apprised of the status of a project or ongoing product development and is highly visible throughout the organization. We are looking for a confident leader who thrives in dynamic environments, embraces change, and enjoys solving complex problems.
You will be running a scrum team and playing the role of project manager on a larger program as needed. The ideal candidate isn't afraid of deadlines, can assert themselves when necessary, and isn't shy about addressing tough issues when they arise. Everyone on our team is a hands-on contributor, so be ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact.
Although this is a remote role, candidates must reside in CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, PA, or TX.
