Sydney or Melbourne | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Job Description: An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior L3 Systems Engineer to join a global operator of mission-critical digital infrastructure supporting cloud platforms, AI-driven workloads, and large-scale enterprise environments. This is not a traditional support role. You'll be joining a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Services team responsible for maintaining and improving the core platforms that underpin some of the most demanding technology environments in the world. The role combines advanced operational support, technical leadership, major incident management and continual service improvement across a modern enterprise infrastructure stack. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of critical incidents, and operating within large-scale, highly available environments, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Act as the Level 3 escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents. Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis and service restoration for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents. Support large-scale VMware and enterprise infrastructure environments. Administer and optimise compute, storage, backup and identity platforms. Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster supporting mission-critical services.
