RDK Embedded Software Engineer

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. Be a productive member of the team.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development within an RDK environment. Experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in RDK platforms, embedded C/C++ development, Linux systems, and networking technologies. Responsible for developing, testing, debugging, and optimizing embedded software solutions for network devices and firmware applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Develop, test, debug, and optimize embedded software applications using C/C++ on RDK-based platforms. Implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi functionalities, including packet analysis, security modes, and configuration using Hostapd concepts. Work with Linux-based systems using BusyBox, Bash, and shell scripting to automate tasks and optimize system performance.

Configure and troubleshoot networking components and protocols, including OCS concepts, DHCP, DNS, NTP, subnets, and VLANs. Perform system debugging and diagnostics using GDB, memory debugging tools, Wireshark, packet capture utilities, and network troubleshooting tools. Contribute to Yocto Project build processes, recipes, manifests, and embedded software in
