Research & Development Product Manager (Food)

Job Description Oversees the R&D, product planning, development across food and beverage categories, identifying opportunities that can generate sustainable revenue growth. Translate and analyse market trends and consumer behaviour into differentiated food product concepts. Act as the key partner to customers and stakeholders, translating customer requirements into innovative product solutions.

Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to support customer engagement and business growth. Identify emerging food technologies, ingredients and capabilities that can create competitive advantages. Manage the full product development lifecycle, from concept development and sampling to production, launch, and review.

Review the existing food product portfolio and identify opportunities for cost optimisation, upselling, localisation and rationalisation. Drive product formulation and reformulation, balancing taste, quality, nutrition, manufacturing feasibility, ingredient cost and margin. Job

Previous experience in R&D, product development, food formulation and innovation. Strong understanding of food quality, food safety and product development requirements. Able to manage the full innovation lifecycle from concept development through formulation and commercial launch.

Able to engage with customers to develop technical or product solutions. Good project management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
