Hi, a long admirer of sysadmins, all the expertise and your ways of problem solving. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this - let me know. I'm a hiring manager for a London based tech firm that's around 300 people and looking to scale. I'm looking for an experienced sysadmin who wants to try something different and be a consultant, who has gone through the pain of operating 'controls' and can talk to the engineers and SREs about practically what works and what doesn't. We are mainly on Azure and GCP platforms, countless SaaS and heavy into machine learning and data science. Following the Spotify model of squads. I've actually got two roles: * One to focus on resiliency, ITDR, incident management and business continuity (and prepare us for new regulations), and asset management * The second on general IT controls and also looking at risks around machine learning and AI. This one will also be working with the cybersecurity team. I'll mentor and bring you up to speed on areas of expertise you might need to develop, if you've not had experience in GRC roles before, e.g. business analysis, business impact assessments and other enterprise risk management components.
