FOOD SERVICES SPECIALIST - TEMPORARY POSITION The SpaceX Hospitality team serves employees, customers, government partners, potential clients, and visitors with snacks, daily meals, and full-service events. The Food Service Specialist is a team-oriented role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while working collaboratively or independently. They must be familiar with basic customer service principles and have a firm understanding of food and beverage safety principles. This role requires identifying and using equipment such as soda machines, hot- and cold-food holding and storage, basic restaurant/catering equipment, serving utensils, and small wares. Individuals must handle task ownership flexibly, switching tasks throughout the day as needed. Daily duties may change on short notice based on staffing and business needs, including but not limited to serving guests, meal production, supporting orders and inquiries, maintaining dining space cleanliness, stocking and distributing products, taking inventory, and setting up/working stations at various outlets per leadership specifications. This position supports SpaceX’s mission by delivering excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, providing flexible support, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and producing high-quality food and beverages to boost morale and productivity.
