ELECTRICIAN, MEDIUM VOLTAGE (STARSHIP) As a Medium Voltage Electrician, you will support the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in substations and power grid facilities to ensure safe, reliable power delivery. This role focuses on basic tasks under direct supervision, working with energized equipment up to 260 volts initially, progressing to higher voltages (above 750 volts) after training. You will assist higher-classified personnel in high- and medium-voltage environments, following strict safety standards. This position combines core responsibilities from substation technician and station electrician roles, emphasizing hands-on learning and team collaboration. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing substation equipment, including breakers, transformers, switches, relays, buswork, control systems, and batteries. , checking oil levels, lights, heaters, and connections).
