IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER, LAUNCH SpaceX is looking a talented IT Systems Engineer to innovate and enhance our multi-site, mission-critical launch infrastructure. This role is essential for enabling safe, reliable, and sustained launch operations - directly advancing our mission to make humanity multiplanetary. We're looking for someone who excels at designing and supporting high-stakes systems with grit, simplicity, and customer-focused tenacity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Optimize and consolidate existing automation scripts and tooling used to simultaneously support multiple classes of launch vehicles. Provide advanced support for Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting. Increase mission critical IT infrastructure maturity with focus on alignment with NIST cybersecurity frameworks. Integrate industry-standard DevOps tooling and processes with existing procedures to streamline launch support infrastructure deployment and refresh. Collaborate with software and controls teams to integrate IT infrastructure build and configuration processes into standardized systems deployment and verification pipelines. Provide real-time IT support during launch and test operations, troubleshooting networking, hardware, and software issues in potentially high stress, time sensitive situations.
