THE POSITION Our roster has an opening with your name on it The Commercial Analyst will work closely with the Commercial Analytics Manager to deliver insights on online Racing market dynamics, competitive trends, and business performance which will drive strategic decision-making. This role sits within the Commercial Analytics team, which owns forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and reporting for the Racing/Sports BU, building on the team's governed data pipelines (Python, SQL, Databricks). You'll play alongside cross-functional partners across Marketing, Product, Growth, Media, Partnerships, VIP, Finance, and more, turning a wide field of information sources into clear, actionable perspectives that keep FanDuel out front in a highly competitive market. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs. THE GAME PLAN Everyone on our team has a part to play Own and evolve recurring performance reporting for leadership; weekly/monthly deep dives and executive-ready summaries — automating production so time goes into the analysis Analyze marketing and promo efficiency — cohort targeting, spend allocation, and campaign performance Support the team’s commercial forecasting and budgeting process, translating analytics, strategy, and market signals into forecast assumptions and helping explain plan-to-actual variance. Partner with Product to assess the pre- and post-launch impact of product changes, layering in how customer KPIs respond.
