Is This You? Are you an experienced Python developer who enjoys building backend applications, REST APIs, and data-driven automation for complex business processes? Do you bring strong backend development skills and an interest in applying them within insurance systems spanning policy, claims, underwriting, and billing? About the Role Build and support Python applications and backend services that enable core insurance business processes. This full-time, remote FormativGroup role will support a client engagement in the insurance industry. You will develop and maintain Python applications, REST APIs, and data-processing solutions; integrate internal and external systems; and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable solutions. The role also supports cloud-based deployments and CI/CD processes, along with unit testing, debugging, production support, performance optimization, and secure development practices. What You'll Work On As a Python Developer, you will: Develop and maintain Python applications supporting insurance business processes, including Policy, Claims, Underwriting, and Billing systems. Build REST APIs and backend services, and integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs and web services.
