Project – the aim you’ll haveYou will be responsible for building a private cloud solution for a government institution in one of the Western European countries. Beyond the build itself, the project also covers migration and long-term maintenance of the solution you create. This is a multi-year engagement with a managed services provider we work with long term, and the scope of the contract keeps growing. We are looking for someone who, over the next few months, becomes the person both our team and the client come to with questions about this environment. The next step from there is a tech lead role: owning technical decisions, setting the direction of the solution, mentoring engineers, and taking part in discussions about the future. Position – how you’ll contributeDesigning, developing, testing and deploying new backend applicationsTesting and improving existing backend infrastructure applicationsMeetings with architects, functional designers and other specialists on system and application designMigrating workloads into the new environment and supporting the platform once it runs in productionContributing to conversations about the next phases of the engagement: scope estimation, technical input into pre-sales documents, and improvement proposals the client actually wants Expectations – the experience you needMinimum 5 years of commercial experience with P
