Looking to work on large-scale hybrid cloud environments and critical public sector systems? We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to drive infrastructure operations, transformation initiatives, and platform reliability across complex on-premise and cloud environments. Location: West (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Renewable basis) Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational stability. Lead infrastructure projects, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver reliable and secure IT services. Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, system monitoring, and security vulnerability remediation to ensure operational excellence. Plan and execute disaster recovery (DR) exercises, IT resilience initiatives, and compliance activities in accordance with organisational policies and security standards. Ensure infrastructure services meet availability, capacity, continuity, and governance requirements while driving continuous improvements. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or infrastructure engineering. Hands-on experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments (On-premise/Cloud)Working experience in AWS/Azure Cloud Management, with experience implementing Infrastructure (IaC) to automate platform provisioning & configuration management Experience in infrastructure project delivery, vendor management, incident management, and disaster recovery planning would be advantageous Prior experience supporting public sector or government environments will be advantageous Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
