About the role Quantitative Data Analyst taking ownership of high-frequency market data(finance) infrastructure, trading terminal operations, and quantitative tools. You will ensure the trading environment runs at peak reliability while supporting the trading team with data analysis and backtesting infrastructure. As the platform grows, you will have the opportunity to participate directly in algorithmic strategy development. Key responsibilities Maintain trading terminals, market data feeds, and resolve system operational issues swiftly Capture, process, and analyze high-volume market data Design clean, high-performance Python APIs and research workflows for the trading desk Maintain backtesting systems, track ongoing strategy performance, and assist in developing quantitative trading tools About you Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science Strong Python programming skills (C++ experience is a strong advantage) Hands-on experience with market data formats troubleshooting Good sense on massive data processing and use of AI tools in coding to enhance productivity Practical understanding of financial markets is a MUST Understanding of derivatives market is a plus 3+ years relevant working experience on analysis or development related positions About us VertexAI Financial Limited is a proprietary trading firm specializing in derivatives trading.
