Are you an experienced Data Modeler with expertise in Teradata MLDM? emagine has an opportunity for you to drive the evolution of an enterprise-wide logical data model with a global team. This Data Modeler role centers on Teradata MLDM (Manufacturing Logical Data Model). You will support the evolution of an enterprise-wide logical data model for a unified data platform, covering the full model lifecycle, scope boundaries, and development backlog. This involves mapping business concepts and source systems to an MLDM-based structure to speed up development in target areas outside the Teradata platform itself, so hands-on MLDM modeling experience matters more than deep Teradata platform expertise. You will set modeling standards, reusable templates, and ways of working for stable teams, and partner closely with data product teams to translate the model into practical, usable data products. This is a data-modeling specialist role, not an enterprise architect position, and prototyping in non-Teradata environments is part of the mandate. Main Responsibilities The role blends hands-on modeling with standards-setting across cross-functional teams. Core duties include: Provide rapid mapping from business concepts and source systems to a Teradata MLDM based structure to accelerate development in non-Teradata target platforms Support the evolution of the enterprise logical data model, including the end-to-end model lifecycle, model boundaries, and development backlog Design and develop logical and physical data models to help data product teams build better data products Establish modeling standards, guidelines, and ways of working for stable teams, including change process and modeling best practices Create golden examples and reusable modeling templates Review and integrate model changes with strong quality controls through co-creation Ensure alignment between the model, glossary, and data governance Measure adoption and impact of the data model Prototype MLDM-based structures in targeted non-Teradata areas Key Requirements 6+ years of experience in data modeling Strong grasp of both normalized and denormalized data models Proficient in data analysis Strong hands-on experience modeling with Teradata MLDM, on Teradata Vantage or another platform ( Essential ) Familiarity with the Teradata Vantage Data Model or a similar enterprise data model framework Comfortable working in an agile environment Collaborative, with a knack for negotiating stakeholder interests Experience with co-creation methods Strong command of English Why This Role You shape a core enterprise data model at scale, work across a genuinely cross-functional landscape, and get to prototype in new territory rather than maintain the status quo.
