Location: Havelock Job Type: Full-TIme Contract (Subjected to renewal/conversion) Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and data pipelines. Design and manage databases, datasets, operational data stores, data lakes, and data virtualisation solutions. Build batch processing and automation solutions using AWS services, Python, Lambda, Glue, DMS, ECS, and EventBridge. Design secure and reliable RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSocket services. Manage CI/CD pipelines and support automated application and cloud deployments. Work closely with DevOps and QA teams on infrastructure automation, testing, monitoring, and application releases. Implement application and cloud security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, API security, IAM, and secrets management. Requirements Minimum 4 years of relevant development experience Strong experience in both frontend and backend development. js. js. Proficient in SQL/Python and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, AWS S3 and Athena. Experience in data engineering, data transformation, batch processing, and database design would be advantageous Hands-on experience with AWS, including ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, Lambda and related cloud services. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or ArgoCD. Good understanding of API design, system design, data structures, scalability, and application security. Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Postman or Supertest.
