Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer (Backend Development) to join our Back Office Development Team. This role is suitable for both fresh graduates and candidates with a few years of software development experience who are passionate about backend technologies and enterprise application development. You will be involved in the design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and support of high-volume, high-performance enterprise applications for our Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) platform. Working alongside experienced engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, project managers, and business stakeholders, you will gain valuable exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications and backend services. Develop and enhance RESTful APIs, database-driven applications, and system integrations. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code following best practices and coding standards. Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application and integration issues. Collaborate with team members to support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-deployment support activities. Perform database development, optimization, and SQL query tuning. Support the implementation of automated testing, performance testing, and quality assurance activities. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git and Jenkins. Prepare an
