Role Overview The Delivery Manager is the engine room of execution. You ensure that complex, multi-vendor technology projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with full stakeholder visibility — while Product Owners remain empowered to lead product decisions and go-live calls. This is a hands-on coordination and accountability role. You will own delivery pipelines, manage third-party integrations end-to-end, surface risks before they become blockers, and give stakeholders the clarity they need to make informed decisions. You don't wait for problems to escalate — you find them first. Key Responsibilities Third-Party Integration Management Own end-to-end tracking of all third-party and vendor integrations across active projects. Actively manage vendor timelines — not just monitor them. When integrations slip, you know what levers to pull: escalation paths, dependency sequencing, and fallback options. Identify dangerous dependencies early and flag them with clear impact assessments before they affect delivery. Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external vendors on delivery matters. Delivery Coordination & Risk Management Build and maintain the master delivery plan, ensuring alignment across product release pipelines, infrastructure readiness, and team capacity. Coordinate release scheduling across platforms, enforcing governance and compliance criteria for every deployment. , shared environment usage) before they become blockers. Manage emergency releases with clear protocols and stakeholder coordination. Select and adapt delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) to fit project context and team needs. Stakeholder Communication Serve as the single source of truth on delivery status — providing clear, structured progress reports and release schedules to all relevant parties. Support the Product Owner in decision-making by surfacing delivery realities: delays, risks, and trade-offs — not just status updates. If a delay is unavoidable, your job is to surface the facts quickly and escalate appropriately so stakeholders can decide — not to absorb or hide the problem. Maintain delivery process documentation as a shared knowledge base for the organization. What We're Looking For Ways of Working You operate best when you understand your lane clearly. The Product Owner owns the product vision and go-live decisions. You own the delivery machinery that makes those decisions informed and executable. You are comfortable saying "the facts are X — here's the risk" and letting the right person make the call. Experience 3+ years in software project or delivery management 5+ years working within software development environments Proven track record of successfully delivering projects involving third-party vendors and system integrations Hands-on experience managing vendor relationships — escalating, negotiating, and problem-solving when integrations go off track Comfortable operating in an Agile environment while managing waterfall-style external dependencies Skills Jira — ticket tracking, sprint management, dependency mapping API / System Integration — sufficient technical understanding to track integration progress, spot blockers, and communicate meaningfully with engineers and vendors Scrum / Kanban — practiced in ceremony facilitation and delivery metrics Budget Management — cost tracking, burn rate visibility, license management Vendor Management — contract awareness, SLA tracking, escalation management Risk & Dependency Tracking — structured approach to identifying, documenting, and mitigating delivery risks Stakeholder Reporting — ability to translate complex delivery realities into concise, decision-ready communication Strong Communication — written and verbal; equally effective with engineers, POs, and senior leadership
