We are a dynamic and rapidly growing securities brokerage firm based in Hong Kong. We provide a comprehensive suite of financial services to retail and institutional clients, covering HK and US Equities, Derivatives (Options/Futures), Fixed Income, Funds, OTC products, and the emerging Virtual Asset (VA) sector. We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking leader to helm our Settlement department. The Role As the Head of Settlement, you will lead the daily operations of the settlement team, ensuring accurate and timely processing across a complex multi-asset portfolio. You will be the process owner for post-trade lifecycle management, driving automation, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. This is a critical leadership role that requires deep technical knowledge of global markets and the ability to adapt to new asset classes like Virtual Assets. Responsibilities Actively lead and supervise the daily activities of the settlement team and review current workflows to identify bottlenecks and operational risks. Oversee the full daily settlement cycle for HK & US Stocks, Options, Futures, Bond, Fund, OTC Products, VA products and corresponding corporation actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. efficiency and integrate new product lines. Strengthen and streamline the workflow processes, maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure the team adheres to them. Liaise with internal departments and external parties to solve settlement problems. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in Settlement within a securities brokerage or investment bank, with at least 5 years in a managerial position. In-depth knowledge of settlement mechanics for HK/US Equities, Futures/Options, and Bonds is mandatory. Candidates with exposure to Virtual Assets (Crypto), OTC derivatives, or structured products would be an advantage. Solid understanding of Securities Rules and HKEX clearing rules. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Able to work under pressure with good team work; Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
