Position: Software Developer — Backend & Data (AI/ML) Work Location: Near BTS Prompong Landmark: EmSphere Work hours: Mon – Fri (On-site 100%) 08:00 - 17:00 Job Responsibilities Design and develop efficient, scalable, and secure REST APIs and Back-End services for Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Design, develop, and maintain SQL / NoSQL databases, including database schemas, indexes, stored procedures, and query optimization. Develop and maintain integrations with medical devices, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and existing hospital systems based on healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR. Build and maintain Data Pipelines and ML Pipelines to support BI reports, management dashboards, data analytics, and AI model preparation. Develop and maintain Batch Jobs, application-level data backup processes, Monitoring, and Logging systems. Ensure the security and privacy of patient data through encryption, access control, audit logging, and compliance with PDPA requirements. Develop Unit Tests and Integration Tests, participate in Code Reviews, and maintain API documentation using tools such as OpenAPI / Swagger. Collaborate with System Analysts, Front-End / Full-Stack Developers, Infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable healthcare solutions. Support the preparation, transformation, and validation of healthcare data for AI/ML applications while maintaining data integrity and accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Back-End / API development. Experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Healthcare / Hospital Information Systems will be an advantage. Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL, with practical experience using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. NET and Python. Strong understanding of REST API design, Authentication / Authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT, and basic knowledge of Message Queue technologies. Experience with Git, Docker / Container technologies, and a basic understanding of CI/CD processes. Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7 / FHIR will be an advantage. Basic knowledge of Machine Learning using Python libraries such as pandas and scikit- learn, or practical experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems. Experience building Data Pipelines for data preparation, transformation, cleaning, and processing for AI models and analytical applications. Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector Databases, and methods for evaluating AI / ML model output quality. Experience using AI-Assisted Coding tools responsibly, with a clear understanding of data privacy and patient-data risks when working with AI technologies. Strong system-thinking and problem-solving skills, with particular attention to Data Integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Ability to collaborate effectively with System Analysts, Developers, Infrastructure teams, and existing IT teams. Strong discipline in information security, data privacy, and technical documentation. Experience working with hospital or healthcare systems and patient-related data will be highly preferred. Hands-on coding experience is required, with the ability to develop, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain Back-End services and data-related applications
