Your career opportunity We’re building app.hsbc , HSBC’s new application development platform. We’ll win or lose based on whether 30K developers choose to build on it — not because they’re told to. This is a hands-on Developer Relations Engineer (Platform Enablement) role focused on shipping practical assets that make the platform the path of least resistance: golden-path templates, reference implementations, automation and documentation that developers actually use. Over the next 3–4 years, ~80% of bank workloads are expected to move to the platform. That’s why we need people who can build, iterate and deliver at pace — while staying close to developer feedback and turning friction into fixes. What you’ll do Build and maintain golden-path templates and reusable patterns that accelerate onboarding and reduce variation across teams. Deliver worked examples from real HSBC projects (not toy apps) that teams can adopt directly and that double as adoption “media”.
