Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our IT Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the availability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of our Microsoft SQL Server platforms, supporting business‑critical applications in a 24/7 enterprise environment. You will act as a technical authority for database operations, contribute to automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, and project teams. This role follows a hybrid working model, with an expected minimum on‑site presence of 8 days per month. It is not a fully remote position, as close collaboration with operations, infrastructure, and project teams is essential. Key Responsibilities Database Platform & Operations Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments (2016 and above) Ensure stable and reliable database operations across development, test, and production environments Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation (approximately 7–10 days per month) Performance, Availability & Recovery Monitor database health, performance, and capacity Analyze and resolve performance issues using native SQL Server tools Design and maintain backup, restore, and recovery strategies Implement and operate High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions Security & Compliance Ensure database security, integrity, and access controls Protect databases against unauthorized access and evolving threats Support aud
