About the Role Our client is a well-established technology and services organisation undergoing active digital transformation, with a strong focus on delivering innovative AI-powered and software solutions. They are seeking a resourceful and technically adept Software Engineer / Prompt Engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software and AI solutions that drive operational efficiency and enhance customer experience. This role sits at the intersection of traditional software engineering and emerging AI capabilities, making it an exciting opportunity for engineers keen to work across both domains. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a meaningful part in shaping the organisation's technology roadmap. Key Responsibilities Design and develop robust software and AI-powered solutions that address business requirements and improve operational efficiency across the organisation Evaluate technical and operational feasibility by analysing requirements, problem definitions, and proposed solution approaches in collaboration with Business Analysts and Solution Architects Architect and build scalable, maintainable systems by applying sound software design patterns and adhering to established development standards and coding best practices Test and deploy software systems by preparing detailed specifications, deployment plans, and executing releases that meet reliability and performance expectations Drive agile development practices across the team
