Start: ASAP until end of December 2026 (extention possible) Remote working with occasional onsite presence in Vienna, when required. Candidates performing onsite work in Austria should be willing and able to comply with Austrian tax and social security requirements where applicable. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with a strong software engineering background and an interest in applying AI technologies to accelerate development and drive innovation. You will be part of an international Agile team, designing and building scalable backend solutions while leveraging AI to improve development workflows and prototype new ideas. This role combines hands-on backend engineering with technical analysis, solution design, and collaboration across product, engineering, and business teams. Key Responsibilities Utilize AI technologies to accelerate feature development and improve engineering productivity. Develop prototypes and technical proposals for solution enhancements and system migrations. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go and Java. Build and maintain cloud-native applications running
