📍 Warsaw, Poland | Hybrid | B2B Contract | English-speaking environment 🌐 About Our Client Our client is a globally recognised payments technology leader whose platforms power real-time financial transactions for millions of businesses, financial institutions and consumers worldwide. At this scale, speed, security, resilience and performance are fundamental, and even milliseconds matter. 🛠 What You'll Do Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications and services Build REST APIs and microservices that meet strict security, reliability and performance standards Develop distributed systems using containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Contribute to system design, code reviews, performance optimisation and production support Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation, and drive engineering best practices Monitor applications and triage issues using Splunk / Humio and log analysis Use AI development tools to boost productivity and delivery speed Own your deliverables end-to-end within an Agile/Scrum team ✅ What You'll Bring 5+ years' experience in Java-based development Strong Java / J2EE with Spring, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate Proven REST API development , covering both producers and consumers, with security and reliability standards Microservices architecture and Docker / Kubernetes experience Databases: Oracle, MySQL and at least one NoSQL database Tooling: Git, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, CI/CD Logging and monitoring with Splunk, Humio
