Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto’s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario. Senior Manager, GO Expansion Operations provides management and oversight through an Operational lens to support the transition to the modern and expanded GO network.   What will I be doing? Identify elements to improve the performance, efficiency, and quality of the rail operation, including additional track infrastructure, signaling, fleet functionality improvements, and communication systems Develops project strategies while providing overall administrative and technical leadership and oversight to multiple corridor project activities to ensure coordination of efforts and successful completion  Plans, sets objectives and controls activities during the development of the corridor projects that support service increases in conjunction with operations and project teams Review project design activities through an O&M lens to proactively identify any areas of potential exposure or non-compliance; recommends appropriate actions to mitigate risk  Delivers presentations, attends meetings, and provides acts as ambassador for the organization and its i
