About the role We are seeking a Material Planning Analyst to join our team at Skillpower Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Rayong on a contract basis . This role is pivotal to our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and resources throughout our manufacturing and logistics processes. As a Material Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial part in optimising our supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring that production schedules are met consistently. Your analytical capabilities and strategic thinking will directly impact our operational excellence and business performance. Key responsibilities Analyse demand forecasts and historical data to develop accurate material requirements plans Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or overstock situations Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, consumption trends, and material utilisation rates Optimise material schedules to minimise lead times and reduce carrying costs Utilise planning software and ERP systems to track materials and update forecasts Identify discrepancies between planned and actual material usage and investigate root causes Support production planning by providing timely material availability assessments Collaborate with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules align with production requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain efficiency
