Senior Network Engineer / Architect Daily Tasks Administration, configuration and operation of network and security components (HPE Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, Infoblox). Design and further development of the network architecture Close collaboration with Architecture, Security and Application teams to ensure the optimal integration of the network infrastructure Support for the introduction of network automation (Python, Ansible) Creation and maintenance of technical documentation Projects and Objectives Further development of the network infrastructure platfor. Taking security requirements into account Introduction of new technical requirements Planning and specification of new technologies Education and Qualifications At least completed vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist for systems integration Professional Experience At least 10 years of experience in this field Technical Skills Very good knowledge of the administration and design of complex network environments Practical experience with Cisco Nexus platforms, 9000 Series, HPE Aruba switches, Fortinet firewall systems and Infoblox Sound understanding of routing and switching, VLANs, VRFs, Spanning Tree, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN and MPLS Experience with network automation using Ansible, Python and REST APIs would be advantageous Social and Communication Skills Communication and stakeholder management A high level of responsibility, a structured approach to work and a strong team orientation Personal Qualities Problem-solving
