Описание

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week) Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B). We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong Energy Trading expertise to support a major client in designing and delivering cloud-based data solutions. This role combines hands-on data engineering, product ownership, and stakeholder collaboration to drive scalable solutions and business efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Data Engineering & Cloud Solutions: Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data models using Python and SQL. Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and seamless integration across systems. Product Ownership & Business Collaboration: Collaborate with Energy Trading, Assets, Operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Own and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and releases while managing stakeholder expectations. Data Strategy & Governance: Improve data architecture, governance, and cloud platform capabilities. Apply best practices in Agile delivery, CI/CD, data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.
