Role Overview The Database Architect designs, implements, and optimizes the database architecture that powers Intelerad 's medical imaging solutions. This strategic technical leader will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and high-performance database systems that support our PACS, RIS, and enterprise imaging platforms serving healthcare providers and imaging centers globally. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in database design, data modeling, and performance optimization within large-scale, mission-critical environments where system reliability directly impacts patient care. This role requires balancing technical excellence with business needs, collaborating across engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure our data architecture supports both current operations and future growth in the healthcare IT sector. Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise-wide database architectures for Intelerad 's medical imaging platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability to support healthcare providers' diagnostic workflows and patient care delivery across multiple deployment models including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Develop and maintain comprehensive data models, schemas, and database documentation that align with healthcare interoperability standards including DICOM, HL7, and FHIR, while optimizing storage strategies for large-scale medical imaging data and ensuring efficient retrieval for clinical workflow
