DevOps Engineer (Automation & Service Reliability) | 6-Month Contract Location: Singapore Employment Type: Contract (6 months) Working Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours per week Industry: Financial Services About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join the Service Management team of a leading global financial services organisation. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and IT operations, focusing on improving production stability, operational efficiency, service reliability, and automation across large-scale enterprise platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and operations teams to modernise service management processes through Python scripting, Microsoft Power Platform, observability solutions, and AI-enabled automation. Key Responsibilities Automation & Engineering Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, internal tools, and applications to streamline service management processes. Build automated workflows for monitoring, alerting, reporting, and operational recovery. Leverage Python, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and system integrations to improve operational efficiency. Reduce manual intervention through scalable and repeatable automation solutions. Observability & Service Reliability Enhance monitoring capabilities, alert quality, and system observability across enterprise applications and platforms.
